About a month ago, Facebook has released Standalone Chat app for Windows users, Facebook Messenger. It was an awaited release from Facebook as it is fast grown Social Network.
Facebook Messenger is a basic chat client and is same as the standard Facebook chat interface, but it is completely standalone app and you don’t need to logon to Facebook website with a web browser. So it is similar to GTalk, Live Messenger, AIM etc.
Facebook Messenger is now available for Windows 7 only 😦 and when you install it, you may need to login and then it will be on! The app runs in tray, and can be accessed any time. Facebook Messenger starts automatically when windows starts, also logins automatically!
